Rushes’ colourist, Adrian Seery, explains: ‘It’s been 5 years since the last one (which I also graded) and they’re back with a brilliant new video. This time it’s a combination of live action and 3-D. The video is a car chase featuring various Gorillaz members (2D, Murdoc, a new Cyborg version of Noodle) and Bruce Willis. The live action was shot in the desert in California on a Red camera and graded at Rushes on Resolve in December ’09. Eight weeks of animation ensued, by the excellent Passion Pictures and Rushes received the final combined pictures for a wash and a brush-up, giving it a bit more of a look to finish off and to bed in the characters a bit more. The end of the video would appear to end in disaster, but one is left with a distinct ‘to be continued’ feeling. ‘

The album features guest musicians such as Lou Reed, Snoop Dogg and Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash. Available in standard and deluxe versions on iTunes, the deluxe version comes with exclusive footage of the making of the "Stylo" music video.
