Audio Network's Music Wins Huge Acclaim on Sony PS3's Smash Hit Game, 'Heavy Rain'.
Audio Network's tracks have become a soaring success as an integral part of Sony PS3's latest smash game, 'Heavy Rain', which debuted at the top of the UK All Formats chart on release.

‘Heavy Rain’ has become Sony’s first UK chart topper since this time last year, and Audio Network are delighted that their versatile high quality music catalogue is a fundamental component of this huge success story.

The game was produced in France by Quantic Dream and use of Audio Network tracks was licensed through our Paris office. This license covered a range of promotional uses for content produced in France. The pan-European Television commercial was licensed through Stream in London for a small additional fee.

Quantic Dream, found the Audio Network tracks were spot on in conveying the moody atmosphere that envelops ‘Heavy Rain’ - the compulsive story of a father’s herculean journey via trials to rescue his abducted boy. This is no point and shoot game however, so the carefully selected music was vital in communicating the sense of danger, atmosphere and dark thrill that permeates the content.

The track ‘Mars’, by Terry Devine-King and Nick Ingman - which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the London Philharmonic orchestra - was chosen by Quantic Dream as the theme music on the trailers for their lead character, Ethan Mars. It has now become so popular, it has attracted a huge following on You-Tube.
