| NorthernNet logs on with Origin Creative |
| NorthernNet, facilitating the growth of the northern digital and creative industries through technology and collaboration, has appointed Origin Creative as its digital and creative marketing agency following a competitive pitch process. |
|
The agency has been tasked with developing and launching an online campaign to promote the innovative project across the region.
The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the NorthernNet brand and encourage northern digital and creative industries to try out the unique Media Access Bureaux, which gives companies flexible, pay as you go (PAYG) access to state-of-the-art editing suites and a superfast digital network which offers transfer speeds of up to 1GB.
Mercedes Clark-Smith, project director, NorthernNet Innovation and Collaboration Project, says: “NorthernNet aims to elevate the North to be a leading force in the European digital and creative industries. The agency has been appointed because of their strategic insight and creative response which has demonstrated they understand how to use digital media to deliver the results we are looking for.”
The campaign will launch in March and run for the next twelve months. Mark Bottomley, Origin Creative’s Managing Director says, “NorthernNet has a fantastic opportunity to give the creative and digital sectors a real competitive advantage – it is a major initiative which will enable the sectors to expand dramatically. This is a significant and prestigious win for us – as part of the creative community ourselves, we understand the importance of this initiative. As well as devising an engaging online and social media campaign we will be working with MediaVest on planning and media buying”.
