George picks gratterpalm for Christmas brief
George, ASDA’s clothing label, has appointed independent retail agency gratterpalm to create this year’s in-store Christmas Point of Sale work.
gratterpalm won the account after a demanding two-way competitive pitch and follows the agency’s successful in-store work for ASDA last Christmas, which featured ‘Reggie the Reindeer’.
The Christmas in-store work will go live in late October, with the brief to take the ASDA Christmas creative as a starting point, but at the same time distinguish George from ASDA, retaining its own personality.
Sonia Whiteley-Guest, Head of Marketing for George, said: “We were very impressed by gratterpalm’s work for ASDA, and by their creative and innovative design concepts in the pitch, which they turned around incredibly fast. George will certainly be celebrating its Christmas in style this year.”
