Bore Me appoints the DBMgroup as exclusive sales partner
Viral entertainment site Bore Me appointed the DBMgroup as its UK sales partner, managing advertising sales, to increase its commercial offering.

Bore Me has 2.1 million unique users per month and has run branded content campaigns for some of the world’s largest brands including Coke, Guinness and Sony Pictures.

DBMgrid will handle all commercial viral branded content, distribution and seeding and Viral Display, including Channel sponsorships, MPP's and Nanosites across the Bore Me network via their commercial relationships with clients, media and creative agencies and partner publishers. DBMpulse will help to shape Bore Me's strategic market positioning and promote network affiliations.

Richard Leishman, CEO at Bore Me, said: “The DBMgroup are creative and driven. They understand both Bore Me’s audience and advertiser's goals and have always used their expertise to help us deliver outstanding campaigns to clients. Their unrivalled experience will help Bore Me to further develop our range of advertising formats.”

Shane O’Byrne, CEO of the DBMgroup, said: "From a media perspective, Bore Me remains at the forefront of humour and viral content entertainment and offers incredible scope for advertisers to leverage the amplification of their marketing message via the Bore Me users.

"This audience consists of trendsetters who are smart, savvy and well connected across all market sectors. Their audience, when reacting to content they’ve discovered and liked, create a massive level of chatter (on blogs, forums, in emails with content links to friends and in basic everyday conversations) about campaigns, generating excellent word of mouth, which is priceless for any brand launching a digital campaign in the UK.

"Having worked with Bore Me and Media and Creative Agencies on a number of media firsts, we are very excited to be working even closer with them to help them shape the web 2.0 digital landscape."
