Rachel Speed is a graduate from the University Of Ulster Belfast with a degree in Art and Design. Through study abroad at LaGrange College, Georgia in the United States, Rachel focused her interest in photography. To create her art Rachel explores her surrounding environment, the camera recording the places she discovers. Places that have been abandoned and that are in a state of decay are of a particular personal interest. Using the camera to examine how these places change through deterioration and vandalism, creating a new aesthetic.
