Oxfordshire Science Festival
Designed and developed a website acts as a one stop shop for all event information and connects festival organisers to fans and visitors alike via the official Facebook fan page and Twitter social media channels. Email marketing was also employed to create awareness and drive traffic.
The Oxfordshire Science Festival needed a website supported by digital marketing initiatives to attract sponsors/event organisers and create awareness and interest amongst the Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
The 2010 Oxfordshire Science Festival received 3 times the traffic of the 2009 festival site and 2010 goal conversion rate was more than 5 times that in 2009. As planned, this online interest then translated into physical festival footfall resulting in over 10,000 festival goers.
We want the festival to be inviting and easy to access for everyone so we needed a website that helped achieve our mission. Obergine has delivered more than we hoped; having been a key supporter of the festival since its inception we feel that Obergine is a central part of its success.
