I am an Illustrator, Graphic and Web Designer currently working freelance for
the leisure, culture and youth industries. My practice is one of experiment
and exploration, which draws heavily from the history of avant garde visual
communication. As is the case for many designers, I began working as a freelancer by
designing print for music events. Over the past few years I’ve designed and illustrated
for city councils, funding bodies, curators, promoters, record stores and labels,
snowboard companies, film events, festivals, artists, filmmakers and galleries.
I’ve also designed DVD interfaces, built websites, exhibited my artwork at Urban
Outfitters and curated exhibitions.
My clients have included the Film Council, Channel 4, The Arts Council, Shropshire
Council, Birmingham University, The Ikon gallery, New Art Gallery Walsall and the
City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra amongst others and my work has been seen
in the Creative Review, Design Week and Dazed and Confused magazines.
