St Ann's Hospice (Charity)
A new take on the Calendar Girls concept, producing a calendar featuring tasteful, witty images of naked women of all ages in Bramhall business locations. Fund raising through calendar sales, corporate sponsorship and individual sponsorship of the participants
Produce visually pleasing imagery showing the naked participating volunteer models having fun in believable everyday situations in Bramhall business locations. The treatment should be tasteful and creative, making the girls look good and showcasing the photographer's skills.
50 female volunteers and one man took part, creating a talking point in the area. Good PR was gained in local newspapers, local websites and Radio. The calendar sales and sponsorship raised over £5000
Community fundraiser Louise Banks said: "St Ann's Hospice needs to raise £16,000 every single day to be able to provide care and support for local people with life limiting illnesses and their families and carers. We cannot thank Ian enough for coming up with the idea of a naked calendar and producing such a beautiful and tasteful final product. The money he has helped to raise is very much appreicated and we would also like to thank everyone who was brave enough to take part in the photo shoots and all of our supporters who have bought the 2010 calendar."
