twentysix wins three top awards in one night

Twentysix, one of the top UK digital agencies with offices in Leeds and London, is celebrating after picking up three awards at two separate award ceremonies on the same night.

At the Cream of Yorkshire awards, twentysix’s team carried off the top award of the evening – the overall Grand Prix for its website for Universal Music showcasing retro musical trio The Puppini Sisters, which also won Gold Award for Best Website.

On the same night the twentysix team also won a coveted Interactive Marketing and Advertising (IMA) award, presented by Marketing Week and New Media Age, for Best Recruitment Website for the Royal Marines website, which judges called ‘a brilliant idea’.

The Royal Marines tasked twentysix with boosting applications to the service while retaining the high quality of recruits. twentysix responded by bringing users as close to Marine life and the selection process as possible, and provide a 360-degree view of Marine life by working closely with serving personnel and new recruits. The winning website features parallax motion photography, an interactive online training tool, video diaries and direct contact with serving personnel via live chat sessions.

It also followed a recruit’s progress through the 32-week training programme, with video diaries and photography updated weekly.
