Tesco Venture Brand Llama's Gets A New Microsite From Forward

Forward, WPP’s multi-channel content and customer publishing agency, has created a new microsite for new savoury snack range Llama’s. The launch of the Llama’s website is to help promote the latest product range from Tesco’s Venture Brands and Forward’s digital strategy included the concept, design, content development, social media and launch of the site.

Llama’s baked bites are llama-shaped, tasty savoury snacks that come in three mouth-watering flavours: tangy cheese, fiery sweet chilli and feisty BBQ. The new brand is fronted by an opinionated, snacking guru character called the Deli Llama.
 
As a passionate campaigner for high-quality snacks, the Deli Llama has pledged to change the way the UK thinks about snacking – imploring users to join him and his snacking revolution. Through the Crunch Time blog, Facebook and Twitter pages, users can keep up to date with the Llama’s progress, latest news, insults and current activity.
 
Bella Chapman of Forward said: “We created a site that took cues from the brand’s bold, bright packaging, mixed in a dollop of South American splendour and brought the Llama character and his proposition, which is to rid the world of boring snacks, to life.”
 
James Procter-Blain, Llama’s marketing manager, said: “Forward has created an amazing microsite for Llama’s. Not only does it showcase the range of superb flavours, but it also captures the essence and humour of our llama character. The site is bold and engaging – and just what any brand manager wants for the launch of a new product!”
 
As with all the other Venture Brands, the Llama’s range is available in store at Tesco or online at Tesco.com.
