International vehicle manufacturer SEAT has appointed London-based mobile marketing agency Movement to deliver a pan-European mobile campaign to support the launch of its new Leon model.
It is the first time that SEAT has worked with a dedicated mobile marketing agency and marks an increase in investment by the manufacturer into the mobile space. Movement’s scope of work will include planning and creative, project management, account servicing and technical delivery before and during the launch of the new model in November.
Movement will define the mobile strategy for the Leon launch, design and build both mobile web and app experiences as well as creating an engaging mobile advertising campaign. The entire mobile programme will be tailored to reach each different market across Europe, adapting to relevant technologies and audiences.
Clive Baker, managing director of Movement, explains: “This is an innovative campaign and it’s great to see SEAT pioneering the use of mobile in its wider marketing strategy. Mobile is fast becoming recognised as an important medium for brands looking to engage with a younger audience and our campaign has been created with this in mind.”
