Ready Steady Store enlists illustrator Ben Scruton to deliver new campaign

Specialist self storage company Ready Steady Store, with stores in the South and North of England, is launching a new advertising campaign to strengthen its community engagement strategy further within the areas around its self storage facilities.

Ready Steady Store enlists illustrator Ben Scruton to deliver new campaign

The new creative will feature community themed characters, created by illustrator, Ben Scruton – known for his work with Orange and Friends of the Earth. The campaign, developed by brand director at Ready Steady Store, Dominique Van Roey, will be used across print media, the website and all Ready Steady Store marketing material.

The illustrations represent a family of characters within a community who have different potential storage needs: the businessman, the young, sporty professional, the tradesman, the couple and the family. Ready Steady Store believes integrating its customers into the heart of the business will build long-term relationships with customers.

Dominique Van Roey, brand director at Ready Steady Store, says: ‘We wanted to create a campaign which would educate and open people’s minds to the different ways self storage can be used, while forging a stronger connection with the communities around our stores. We believe our strategy will help our existing and potential customers to develop a better understanding of how self storage could bring more space into their lives.’
