Purpose identifies Cholsey Meadows as a place to flourish

Designed and orchestrated by London brand communications consultancy Purpose, a compelling marketing platform for Cholsey Meadows in Oxfordshire provides a highly visible, ‘ownable’ platform to support residential sales in a challenging economic climate.
Struck by its location and the emphasis in the blueprints on community, aspiration and well-being, the designers found the idea ‘flourishing’ a compelling core message with infinite creative possibilities.
The idea is playfully embedded and expressed in 2D and 3D applications across the identity. It guides the imagery and language used in the brochures, inspires physical elements inside the marketing suite, and creates eye-catching moments on hoardings, signage and advertising. At the centre of the design programme is a logotype with memorable, illustrated flourishes.
A new marketing suite has been developed to launch the second phase of the three-phase development programme. Implementation of Purpose’s marketing suite concepts was executed in collaboration with interior design firm Claude Hooper.
Simon Pendlebury, Head of Sales and Marketing at Linden Homes said:
‘Our intention has been to build something very different at Cholsey Meadows, to create a sense of community in a peaceful, listed parkland setting in a way that is sustainable and aspirational.
'Purpose’s approach was very new to us as house builders. They really took us out of our safe environment and helped us for the very first time to strip back our offer and look at the whole customer journey.
‘From the typefaces for the logotype to the quality of the papers for the brochures and the elements for the marketing suite, everything was so very well considered . . . the results are quite incredible; we were blown away.’
The final phase is due for completion at the end of the 2012.
