Nespresso Tees Up for Ryder Cup Experience

Experiential agency Line Up has been commissioned by Paris-based marketing agency Action Marketing Services to help create “The Ultimate Coffee Experience” at the 2010 Ryder Cup on behalf of Nespresso, the premium coffee brand from Nestlé.

The 2010 Ryder Cup will be staged at The Celtic Manor Resort in Wales from 1st – 3rd October.

Throughout the three days of competition Nespresso will be ‘teeing up’ hundreds of thousands of espressos and lattes from dedicated Nespresso coffee stations located around the course. Around 360 Nespresso coffee stations will be sited throughout the hospitality marquees, players’ lounge, media and public areas.

Duncan Beale, managing director of Line Up comments:
“The golfing world will be watching this event with keen interest, so it’s essential that the production is faultless. This is the first time that Nespresso has been the official coffee supplier to The Ryder Cup, and it’s understandably keen to make a great impression. It’s also the first time that we’ve partnered with AMS, and are delighted to be working alongside them to deliver this experience.”
