Kings Court Trust, one the UK’s long established estate and probate administrators have launched a new brand, website and advertising with the focus on developing a new direct to consumer channel.
Kings Court Trust have a wealth of business clients, as well as a Will storage service, from which they obtain a large number of referrals. They also white label their services for a number of market leading brands.
“The estate administration and probate services market is changing, driven by legislative change as well as savvy consumers. We want to provide the public with a better deal, fixed prices as well as legal indemnity which many law firms don’t provide” says Tom Curran, CEO of Kings Court Trust.
Kings Court Trust appointed TheAgency earlier in the year to handle their brand strategy, advertising campaign creative and website development, following a 3-way pitch.
“TheAgency are extremely experienced in developing go-to-market strategies that deliver sales. We have been really impressed with their creative and strategic approach, and we are now being seen to set the standard for our competitors in this emerging direct to consumer market place”, says Christine Houghton, sales and marketing director at Kings Court Trust.
Saman Mansourpour, one of the founding partners at TheAgency says, “It’s very exciting to be at the cusp of any market change, particularly when we are able to demystify the legal profession to the advantage of the consumer. People take a lot more time out to research these days, and not everyone hands over every aspect of a legal process to their solicitor anymore. This is an opportunity for organisations like Kings Court Trust to provide a fair service and efficient consumer experience.

The dust has settled on the bidding process for the new 4G network in the UK with the main protagonists, Everything Everywhere, Vodafone, O2, Hutchinson 3G and Niche Spectrum Ventures (BT), shelling out a combined £2.34 billion for access rights. Not an insignificant sum you might say, but still only around 10% of the auction of the 3G network in 2000 and over £1 billion less than the Treasury had forecast.
