Jigsaw Systems, the leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to the creative industries in the UK, has confirmed its appointment as the UK’s first and only FileWave Platinum Partner, meaning it can now offer its customers an even greater level of support for the FileWave software management solution on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems.
The move, which follows a partnership between the two companies lasting a number of years, will enable Jigsaw to deploy, configure and support FileWave much more comprehensively than was previously possible, and is testament to Jigsaw’s continuing commitment to integration, device management and inventory solutions.
According to Jigsaw’s infrastructure manager, Andy Cain: “We’re delighted that FileWave has selected us as their first Platinum Partner. As part of our relationship with them, we’re already working closely to provide this great platform to a number of our key enterprise and education customers. We hope that by using both our professional service knowledge-base and FileWave’s expertise, we’ll be able to continue to ensure successful rollouts of the solution and provide the very best support for them.”
Nurdan Eris, Filewave CEO said: ”We decided to begin our new reseller program with Jigsaw Systems as their knowledge and professionalism is without doubt, the best in its class. From the outset we were confident that they would always deliver the same excellence and high standards that we demand of ourselves to our clients, and we have not been disappointed.
Our approach in developing a Reseller channel was to ensure that the client is able to see the combined huge commitment that we are all striving to create and of course the “Value Add” to the services that are being delivered. In this partnership we believe that together we have fine-tuned the relationship between the client and Reseller so that it now becomes a challenge to tell where the client team ends and the Jigsaw team begins.
The training program for our Platinum Resellers involves a large commitment in both time and energy for System Engineers, Sales Consultants and all customer facing staff within the business. The Jigsaw team threw themselves into this partnership with relish from day one and we were very pleasantly surprised at how, to a person, they excelled in all areas. As such, we are proud to announce Jigsaw as our first Platinum Partner for our new Worldwide Reseller Program.”
FileWave provides organisations with the means to roll out software across their entire network. It gives full file-level control of software images - even post-deployment - and allows for the management of cross-platform deployments to a much greater extent than has been traditionally possible.
With full MDM support for iOS, FileWave also allows the same level of control over iPhones and iPads as on desktop and laptop machines. This feature includes support for all the MDM functions that Apple has made available, including profile distribution, remote wipe and device lock. FileWave also has the ability to search iTunes libraries and distribute non-DRM (Digital Rights Management) content to remote Mac sync stations.
