Gratterpalm starts campaign for mypetstop

mypetstop, the Mars-owned network of pet boarding and care centres, has appointed Leeds-based Gratterpalm as its new advertising agency. The account was won following a four-way pitch.

mypetstop runs three specialist pet care centres, located in Leeds, Manchester and Washington – Newcastle upon Tyne, offering luxury boarding, grooming, Doggy day care, hydrotherapy and pet training. Gratterpalm will develop campaigns to improve usage and loyalty with existing mypetstop customers, re-educate lapsed customers to regain trial, and drive awareness with potential new customers.

Gareth Healey, managing partner at Gratterpalm said, “mypetstop offers the gold standard in pet care and we’re really excited to be working with them to drive their business forward”.

Gratterpalm will revitalise mypetstop’s customer database to drive direct marketing and e-campaigns. The agency will oversee all creative work for the mypetstop website and drive all online activity.

A referral scheme with pet rescue centres and vets will be launched to attract new pet owners to mypetstop, and Gratterpalm will promote the programme of events for pet-lovers hosted at mypetstop to increase customer uptake.
