Gratterpalm, the North’s leading advertising agency, has further expanded its team following the appointment of a senior digital account manager, to work on some of the company’s biggest clients, including Asda, Morphy Richards, Viking and mypetstop.

Gratterpalm, the North’s leading advertising agency, has further expanded its team following the appointment of a senior digital account manager, to work on some of the company’s biggest clients, including Asda, Morphy Richards, Viking and mypetstop.

Angela Hay, who lives in Pudsey, Leeds, has experience in digital, print, and social media campaigns, across a broad spectrum of industries, for clients including Unilever UK and Global, Heinz, Horlicks and Persimmon Homes. Angela has held positions at several agencies including Brahm, Swamp and most recently, Brass.

Within her new role, Angela is responsible for developing strategies, building relationships, monitoring production and overseeing quality control and essentially, helping brands achieve their objectives through digital channels.

Speaking about the appointment, Angela, who is originally from Cheshire and moved to Leeds seven years ago, said: “I’d heard lots of positive things about Gratterpalm and I wanted to be a part of a growing company with a fantastic client portfolio. This is an exciting move for me and I’m looking forward to the role I can play in developing digital strategies and helping clients achieve all of their online goals.”

This latest appointment brings Gratterpalm’s digital team total to seven, including specialist digital account managers, digital designers and digital developers.

Gratterpalm’s digital offering includes strategy and planning, website design and build, online advertising, email communications, motion graphics, viral, social media and a state-of-the-art offline editing suite.

Helen Saunders, director of human resources at Gratterpalm, added: “Following an extremely busy period it became necessary to recruit additional support for the existing digital team.

“In our search for a new senior digital account manager, we were looking for someone with strong digital advertising and business skills who understands the most effective ways to help our clients reach their goals. Angela is the perfect fit and a very welcome addition to our team.”
