Exhibition Stand for JCB at Intermat

The Envisage team have recently returned from Paris having designed and built an exhibition stand for industrial hardware giant JCB for Intermat.

Attracting well over 1000 exhibitors and 100,000 visitors from across the world's construction industry, Intermat is a critical event for global construction industry leaders, contractors, financial institutions, manufacturers and contracting authorities.

The purpose of the stand was to show off JCB's range of transmissions. These products had been sold under through a JCB business known as International Transmissions Ltd, which changed its name to JCB Drivetrain Systems. The Intermat show attendance was an opportunity to harness this brand change while reinforcing the quality of their products.

Malcolm Sandford, Managing Director of JCB's Engine and Transmissions businesses, said: "The change of name from ITL to JCB Drivetrain Systems Ltd will enable us to develop sales of axles, transmissions and drivetrains into the emerging markets of South America, India, Russia and the Far East, where JCB's brand recognition is extremely strong."

The stand featured a central meeting room space for networking, though hospitality facilities were unnecessary as this was provided on another stand outside that displayed complete machines.

Products were featured on plinths with large lanterns overhead that carried branding and lighting units. The stand broke with previous conventions with its clean lines and use of white, alongside the signature JCB yellow.

Reports from the event suggest the stand was popular among attendees. Speaking on the project, Creative Director Chris Cotterill said "We were delighted to once again work with one of the UK's leading construction companies and look forward to doing so again in the future."
