888.com, Co-operative Financial Services, Sands Beach Resorts, Heathrow Express, Illamasqua and the NHS are the next in line to embark on Coolpink's first class journey of digital discovery.
Be assured this will not be any ordinary journey – think crème de la crème of experiences. The team promote in their new client charter the opportunity for: ‘clients to touch, taste, feel the excitement of the digital world’ and they are sweeping many of the big brands along with them on their journey.
Leading the way as an agency in demand Founder and Managing Director, Mark Bower, is now in the driving seat having assumed operational control of the company following the buy-out of his co-directors. Injecting a new energy and diversity into the company, Coolpink has recently re-branded* to reflect this ethos and taken on board five new team members including an Account Director, SEO Manager and QA Executive. Expansion has led to them moving to extensive new offices to house the new team.
Less than 2 months after the successful MBO, MD Mark now heads up a team of 30 of the most talented and creative people in the industry. Continually demonstrating the power of digital to their clients, Coolpink will be launching a number of initiatives across the autumn and winter months under their campaign banner, 'Discover Digital'.
Winners of The Best Web Design Company at the 2009 Insider Yorkshire Digital Awards, the digital agency was presented with the acolade for its outstanding digital work for clients such as DFS and Opera North. Enjoying it's reputation as a leading agency within the digital sector, Coolpink has also this year been recognised as a recommended agency on the Agency Register, and has seen one of their clients, DFS, sit at the top of Sitemorse's website compliance and benchmarking report for 10 of the last 12 months. More recently, the agency has been named as runner up in the 'Creative Business of the Year' category at the Industry Business Forum awards, which celebrate excellence and innovation in the industry, and has been nominated for 2 awards by the Marketing Industry Network, 'Digital Agency of the Year' and 'Yorkshire Company of the Year'.
With other big brands on their books such as The National Media Museum, Screen Yorkshire, and Yorkshire Forward, to name just a few, the company has increased from 21 to 30 employees within the last year and has seen turnover rise from £1.5m in 2008 to £2.5 today, proving to its existing staff that the harder they work, the harder they can play.
MD, Mark Bower said: “After the last couple of years of rapid growth, we took the opportunity to look at the investment structure and future of the company and review our own personal goals. As a result, the MBO was agreed and we now have a new investor on board who puts the company in a much stronger position financially and shares our ambitious goals for driving the future growth of the business. We are delighted to welcome the new members of the Coolpink team and to be working with a long line of fantastic brands from a variety of sectors.”
He adds: “In everything that we do we look to offer insight, inspiration and impact – this means creating campaigns that use digital media in an inventive way, to enable the maximum reach and ROI to be achieved. Our clients work with us because we challenge them to see things differently and discover digital opportunities that will help their businesses grow.”
Through digital marketing Coolpink implement targeted results-driven campaigns across a number of digital channels, driven by strategic thinking and smart evaluation. From online business strategy creation through to implementation, their approach is bespoke to each client, advising them on how to best capitalise on the digital world.
They are soon to announce the launch of a Yorkshire focussed event, which will invite businesses across the region to join their digital journey. For more info info and to keep up to date with the latest details follow them on twitter at http://twitter.com/coolpink
