Brandimage creates the new brand territory for Societe Generale

Brandimage imagines a new concept through a dynamic and evolving graphic system to express the change of posture: the moving line.

Brandimage, a leading global consultancy of brand equity architects and designers, announced the launch of new brand territory the agency has created for Societe Generale.

To support the new ambitions of the bank, more connected, more open and more committed.

Brandimage imagines a new concept through a dynamic and evolving graphic system to express the change of posture: the moving line.

A major element of the new brand territory, the moving line acts as a visual marker that sets the rhythm for all Société Générale communication. Rooted in the logo, the moving line gives impetus and rhythm to all communication expressions: from brochures to social media, from internal communication to advertising.

To carry the brand's messages high, the catchphrases become declarative, highlighted in a voluntary fat. A double set of typography reinforces the new dynamic of discourse: a typography to affirm the bank's commitment, a typography to dialogue.

The messages are articulated around the moving line in a duo of tonality: an energy palette that brings light, associated with a status palette that gives contrast and strength.


The customer at the heart of the brand's communication system

The photographic style is simple and direct, authentic and true. Specific framing styles have been defined for each of the client targets: from individuals to large Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions.


An international deployment

As part of the launch of the new brand signature with the creation of the branch and country brand blocks developed by Brandimage, the new territory will be deployed in all Societe Generale business lines and markets starting from 14 November 2018.
To accompany the new promise, a brand charter ensures the consistency of the new graphic codes.
