John has worked for the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) in the North West, since its inception in April 2009 and has over 20 years experience in education. A strong advocate of Apprenticeships John is actively involved in the Creative Break Apprenticeship Programme, and has been instrumental in launching and driving the scheme, which places Business Administration Apprentices in the creative sector.
Prior to the NAS, John worked for the Learning and Skills Council and gained extensive experience of the skills, employment and education policy, in the Department of Education and at the Government Office North West.
John is a qualified labour market analyst and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and is married with two young children.
