My slightly strange sense of humour got the better of me when photographing model rail figures with a macro lens. It was just too tempting to pair these two up for a macarbre take on this popular type of photography.

I shot in daylight but used a powerful flashgun to turn day into night. The resulting darkness and shadows work well with what's going on in the shot. I'm thinking more 'Shaun of the Dead' than 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' but I'll let you be the judge.
