An illustration about the effect that the prolonged period of wet weather this year has been having on British wildlife. The National Trust described the conditions as 'apocolyptic' for many birds and other species. This illustration was a self promotional piece created as part of a topical series. The shape of each falling bird's body was designed to echo the shape of the raindrops.
