This was a cover image for Lexpert Magazine, a business magazine for Lawyers in the US produced by Carwell, a Thomson Reuters business. Commissioned by Brianna Freitag, the brief was to highlight the upcoming Lexpert Rising Stars gala dinner and awards presentation paying tribute to Leading Lawyers Under 40 a special group of upcoming stars . The image uses a very restricted and bold colour palette to emphasise the traditional red carpet of award ceremonies,rising up the stairs to the shooting stars and fireworks in the sky. All elements of the image were created entirely in 3d paper then photographed and digitally collaged to create the final illustration. Gail Armstrong's portfolio.
