The piece is titled 'Bristol Dinosaur'. It was commissioned initially as a CD cover design for Decode publishing. The CD was a compilation called 'Western Union', so I decided to make a union of landmarks from the West of the UK (where I live) into the form of a dinosaur. The illustration is a celebration of the local area, capturing it's life and energy, but is also a comment on the cities advance on the country and nature.
