This illustration was commissioned by Prospect magazine for a short story by Carlo Gebler about a persistent drug trafficker called Magic serving time for his offences. Gebler was born in Dublin and has been writer in residence since 1997 at HMP Maghaberry. He is 'drawn to conflict as a writer, and you&rsquoll find there is no greater crucible of conflict than a prison.'
